We stayed here to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the pleasant aroma of incense and received an explanation of how to use the inn. The gentleman who assisted us was very refined, and at that moment I thought, “I want to come back to this inn.”

After the explanation, we received our room key and moved to our room, which was even more wonderful than expected. The room was clean and well-prepared, with amenities and tea sweets provided. Our room included a dining area, terrace, a separate bedroom, and an open-air onsen. Without a TV, we could truly escape daily life and relax in the dining area.

Since we had requested towel art, my partner was delighted when seeing it along with the view of the open-air onsen from the bedroom. The onsen was very pleasant, and the sulfur scent and atmosphere helped us relieve daily fatigue. My partner, who enjoys onsen and sauna, repeatedly moved between the onsen and the terrace to enjoy the open air.

For the birthday celebration, a cake and bouquet were prepared. We could choose the colors of the bouquet, and a message was added to the cake. Both were very well received.

At checkout, the staff provided a bag for the bouquet so we could safely take it home. The foreign staff member who assisted us at checkout was also very polite and gentle, making us feel that staying here was the right choice.

Even though we forgot some items due to relaxing so much, the staff handled it carefully over the phone. From the time of booking, there was nothing to be disappointed about. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Hakone.

The accommodations were awesome! Nazri and Koji were extremely helpful and welcoming. I did not get the food service so I cannot comment on that. I would not go anywhere else for my stay in Hakone.

I made a reservation because I wanted to soak in the outdoor bath quietly and calm my mind from the daily fatigue.
The room was very quiet, and the open-air onsen was excellent.
If I had to mention something, it was a bit disappointing that I couldn’t see the outside view (though it's understandable due to the location). However, everything else was a very calming space.
I would like to use this place again.
