We had the room with an open air onsen and it was amazing. I wish we could have stayed for another night or two and will be definitely be coming back here for our next stay in Hakone.
Room itself was huge and the ambiance of the room was incredible.
Staff at the hotel were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special for us knowing it was our honeymoon.

The service from the staff was excellent, and there was an outdoor onsen on the upper floor of the room, where I was able to enjoy the hot springs in a relaxed and peaceful setting.

Excellent hotel and very central. Rooms were very well designed in a traditional style. Restaurant at the hotel was outstanding. The chef was very accommodating regarding food restrictions and we had two of the best meals in Japan!

The drone was flying over us a few times while we were in the bath outside. We were both naked and felt so uncomfortable.
It was light outside too.

Perhaps because the number of guests is limited, we were able to spend our time in a very peaceful environment. The room had a calming light, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time. However, due to the rain, the stairs leading to the rooftop outdoor bath and the sofas on the rooftop were wet. The footing was slippery, and there was no place to put our change of clothes. It would be greatly appreciated if a movable roof or some other solution could be provided for rainy days.

I found this inn while searching for rooms with outdoor baths, and it was even more wonderful than I imagined. The open-air onsen was spacious enough for two people to relax comfortably, and adjusting the temperature was easy with just one button, making it very pleasant. Both the open-air onsen and the room were very clean, and I could relax without my shoes on, making it perfect for a cozy stay. The access was also great, as it was just a short walk from the station. I definitely want to visit again.
