Wow, what a wonderful experience my wife and I had. We spent two nights here traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto and we wish we could have stayed longer. This was our first time in Japan and our first time in a ryokan. The Kaze room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the view was scenic, and I could write a whole review on the in-room onsen, but it was truly amazing. I've never felt so relaxed and rejuvenated, and my skin was glowing. The food was amazing, but you'll definitely need to be a little adventurous with it if you're not used to Japanese cuisine. The staff were also amazing! Very warm, welcoming, accommodating, and spoke English well enough! There is a Family Mart right down the street for any snacks, or extra bottles of sake, which was very convenient. We spent a little time in the whiskey bar and enjoyed a nice cigar too. Overall I would highly recommend this ryokan, and even more so recommend the Kaze room.

Everything is superb! Customer service is perfect!! Just 1 minor point regarding the Air Conditioning for the bedroom and bathroom corridor - not enough warm air even after we tried to adjust with the remote. According to the remote, it was showing a temperature of over 30 degrees. We woke up both mornings feeling very cold.

I stayed in room 風 for 2 nights. The service was flawless and the room was well managed. Can strengthen on the cleanliness of the room and also provide more choices for breakfast. However the overall experience was nice and I had a great time. Thank you for taking care of us.

Amazing experience at the resort. From the moment we drove in to the parking lot, staff came out to greet us and help us with our luggage. We were promptly led to our room without having to wait at the lobby and got wonderful service from the check-in process, to getting our welcome snacks and drinks to dinner to breakfast. Dinner and breakfast were served with utmost care in our rooms and detailed explanations of each dish.
Private onsen in the room was wonderful. Sipping a drink while enjoying the sounds of nature in the onsen is very enjoyable and relaxing.
Check-out procedure was seamless and prompt.
10/10 would recommend.

I do appreciate and thank you for the accommodation and replacement of dishes for the dishes with cooked eggs and raw eggs. But the main dishes especially the beef dishes tasted bland and the meat quality was too chewy. The additional courses we ordered - lobster and abalone had no taste at all - with no herbs or garlic and taste very bland and not good.

We wanted to take a relaxing trip to cherish our time together as a couple before the birth of our child, so we stayed here this time. When we informed them in advance about my pregnancy, they prepared room service drinks without caffeine and even provided a body pillow to make sleeping more comfortable, which made us very happy. The meals were also considerate and extremely helpful. The room with the outdoor onsen was superb. My husband hasn't been particularly fond of onsen before, but he enjoyed them so much that he has now become a fan. The meals were also very delicious, and both of us were very satisfied. As we were leaving, the staff warmly asked, 'Will you be back next time with three?' and we immediately responded, 'Yes, we will definitely come back.' We are grateful to the staff for their consideration. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.
