360-year-old Hakone Matsuzakaya Honten Receives the Gold Award

Kinnotake Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hakone-cho, Kanagawa Prefecture, President and Representative Director: Kei Kubosawa), which operates five inns and two restaurants in Hakone, is pleased to announce that the 360-year-old Hakone Ashinoyu Onsen Matsuzakaya Honten has received the Gold Award at OMOTENASHI Selection 2022 (sponsored by the OMOTENASHI NIPPON Executive Committee). The number of reservations by foreign travelers has increased by 78% compared to 2019 due to the relaxation of entry restrictions and the weakening of the yen. We will further enhance the facilities and strengthen our reception capabilities with foreign staff to accommodate an increasing number of foreign travelers.
