Kinnotake Co., Ltd., a company that operates five ryokans and two restaurants in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture (Headquarters: Hakone, Kanagawa; President: Kei Kubosawa), will start offering a drink called "Susuki-no Soda" at Cafe & Dining LüDERA in Hakone Sengokuhara. This drink is inspired by the Susuki Plateau in Hakone, which is one of Kanagawa's 50 scenic spots where the susuki grass shines golden during a beautiful period.
The susuki grass fields, which stretch out on the famous tourist spot Mount Daigatake in Hakone Sengokuhara, will soon be in full bloom around mid-September. During this summer, Cafe & Dining LüDERA offered a seasonal limited-time menu item called "Amanogawa Float" with a focus on the connection to Hakone and the awareness of the season. It was well received by customers.
With a commitment to cherishing the sense of connection to Hakone and the awareness of the season, they aim to let people fully enjoy the charm of Hakone Sengokuhara in the autumn, which is part of "Kanagawa's 50 Scenic Spots," and have developed the "Susuki-no Soda" with this landscape in mind. Starting from September 15 (Friday), they will begin selling this limited-time autumn menu.
They hope to introduce the beauty of the susuki grass plateau to domestic travelers and the increasing number of inbound tourists, allowing them to savor the susuki-no soda and immerse themselves in its aftertaste.
