Tanabata Campaign: Write Your Wishes on Tanzaku for a Chance to Win a Free Stay at Kinnotake. Until July 7th

On July 7th, Orihime and Hikoboshi can meet once a year as they cross the Milky Way. "Kinnotake Sengokuhara" and "Kinnotake Tonosawa" are jointly hosting a "Tanabata Campaign" until Sunday, July 7th, where guests can write wishes on tanzaku and experience Japanese culture at the historic "Matsuzakaya Honten," established over 360 years ago. The campaign has been running for about three weeks and has seen participation from over 200 guests. We continue to invite both international travelers and domestic visitors of all ages to experience traditional Japanese culture through this event.

1. Joint Project by Kinnotake Sengokuhara & Kinnotake Tonosawa: Free Stay Giveaway Campaign

Guests staying at Kinnotake Sengokuhara or Kinnotake Tonosawa can write their wishes on tanzaku and hang them on bamboo decorations for a chance to win a free stay.
Eligibility: Guests staying at either Kinnotake Sengokuhara or Kinnotake Tonosawa during the campaign period.
Application Period: Friday, June 7, 2024 - Sunday, July 7, 2024
How to Apply: Write your wish on a tanzaku, hang it on the bamboo decoration, fill out the necessary information on the stub, and submit it to the application box.
Winner Announcement: Thursday, July 11. Winners will be notified via email from each facility.

For Kinnotake Sengokuhara applicants: Free stay at Kinnotake Tonosawa with a teppanyaki dinner featuring rare Ishigaki Island Kitaushi Farm Premium Beef.
For Kinnotake Tonosawa applicants: Free stay at Kinnotake Sengokuhara with an exclusive room featuring an open-air onsen and in-room dining, offering a luxurious experience akin to Princess Kaguya.


2. Matsuzakaya Honten: Enjoy Japanese Culture at a Historic Ryokan Campaign
Write your wish on a tanzaku and post it on Instagram to receive a voucher for Matsuzakaya Honten's original bath salts or participate in a Japanese cultural experience activity called "Ryocance."

Eligibility: Guests staying at Matsuzakaya Honten　during the campaign period.
Application Period: Friday, June 7, 2024 - Sunday, July 7, 2024
How to Apply: Write your wish on a tanzaku, hang it on the bamboo decoration, take a photo, post it on Instagram, and show the post to the staff.
Gift Distribution: Present your Instagram post to participate in a gacha gacha (capsule toy) machine and receive your prize on the spot.
