Unlocking the Ryokan Experience: Introducing Ryocance Stay Plans - Our Second Launch!
Mar.19.24
"Ryocance" is a term coined to provide the experience of staying at a ryokan for an extended vacation (a long holiday). It aims to rediscover the charm of Japan and Hakone that cannot be fully appreciated during a one-night trip, primarily by offering Japanese experience activities for overseas guests during their long-term stays.
Prior to Matsuzakaya Honten, "Kinnoutake Tounosawa," a member of our group, started selling the Ryocance plan in January of this year, making this the second introduction in the group. Matsuzakaya Honten, which has attracted many overseas guests seeking a deep immersion in Japanese culture, features buildings that retain the atmosphere of old-fashioned inns, historical sites visited by prominent figures from the Meiji era and literary giants, and rooms associated with the imperial family. By offering Japanese experience activities here, we aim to create new demand for extended stays and provide our guests with a more fulfilling ryokan experience.
We invite you to spend your time at our ryokans in a resort-like manner and lose track of time.
Kinnoutake Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, President and CEO: Kei Kubosawa, hereinafter referred to as "Kinnoutake"), which operates five ryokans and three restaurants in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, started selling the "RyoCance" plan at Matsuzakaya Honten, a hot spring
