Historical Hakone Ashinoyu Hot Spring Ashinoyu is a resort with a deep history in Hakone, with many historical sites dating back to the Kamakura period, including a group of stone Buddhas and a stone pagoda.
Tokoan, where writers and artists gathered during the Edo period, is located in the precincts of Kumano Shrine adjacent to our Ryookan.
Ashinoyu is conveniently located along Route 1 for easy access to transportation. Lake Ashinoko, a popular sightseeing spot in Hakone, is about 8 minutes away by car.

Approximately 25min by bus then 3min on foot from "Higashi Ashinoyu" bus stop.
