1. Eho-maki is a special sushi roll eaten during Setsubun to bring good luck for the year. It’s believed that eating the sushi roll while facing the "lucky" direction (based on the zodiac) in silence attract good fortune and drive away bad luck.
2. Setsubun is a Japanese tradition on February 3rd, where people throw beans to drive away evil spirits and bring good luck.
