The beloved "Shunpuso" at Matsuzakaya Honten, renowned for its rich history, onsen, and breathtaking scenery, has been newly renovated and reopened in September 2024 with five exclusive rooms. After a successful pre-booking period at the end of August, with numerous reservations and inquiries, we are pleased to announce that general bookings are now open.

"Shunpuso" is a historic building, originally the Iwasaki Villa from the Taisho era, carefully relocated and reconstructed. Long admired for its serene atmosphere, including rooms once frequented by members of the Imperial family and stunning views of the garden from the corridors, this renovation has equipped all rooms with modern comforts such as beds and private onsen, allowing guests to enjoy the perfect blend of historical charm and contemporary luxury.
